Rain is good

Daytime heat is sometimes unbearable especially when one is trying hard to keep the electricity bill under control.

It's a godsend when the air feels suddenly much cooler and then the rain comes. The colour of the clouds and sky change to various hues of blue and grey and the landscape looks hauntingly beautiful.

The trees and grass also welcome some much needed respite.
