Sumo, an amazing sport in Japan

Do you know Sumo? Sumo is one of the most famous and popular sports among Japanese people as well as foreigners.

I think Sumo looks like wrestling, but Sumo players are in larger bodies which is the outstanding significance of Sumo. Sumo is a competition of strength, so the bigger the Sumo player, the greater the advantage.

Another outstanding significance of Sumo is the Sumo player's hair and they wear only a loincloth called a Mawashi.

The rules of Sumo are that a Sumo player has to force the opponent out of a designated area within the ring.

I haven’t ever seen Sumo with my own eyes before, I only saw Sumo via Youtube or television.

Luckily, my Japanese daughter in law had a good opportunity to see Sumo in the special show near her office. She was so excited as it’s her first time as well. There were so many people watching the Sumo Show. She said it's a very great and amazing show indeed.
