Scene 1 – Like every other day, Malini woke up early at 5 AM. She cleaned the house, watered the plants outside, performed her prayers, and prepared her daughter's lunchbox—all part of her daily routine. Afterward, she woke her husband and served him his morning tea right in bed. Malini had her own tea, then woke her daughter, got her ready with great affection, and sent her off to school; the school bus would honk outside the house at exactly 7:15 AM. After seeing her daughter off, Malini prepared breakfast and a packed lunch for her husband to take to the office. By the time she finished all this, it was around 9:30 AM; she would then rest for a while after sending her husband off to work.

Scene 2 – Around 11:30 AM, while Malini was resting, the doorbell rang. She wondered who could be visiting at that hour. Peeking through the peephole, she saw a young man dressed as a snake charmer standing at the door. Malini opened the door slightly and asked, "Who are you? What do you want?" The young man replied, "We are snake charmers asking for alms; our entire troupe is here, and we collect donations from the houses." As Malini looked closely at the young man, his face seemed familiar; her heart began to race, and a surge of maternal instinct rose within her. Nevertheless, maintaining her composure, she gave the young man some money and grain.

Scene 3 – After the young man left, Malini felt a heavy weight on her heart; she was reminded of her four-year-old son, Robin, whose face bore a striking resemblance to that young snake charmer. Yet, how could this be? Her son had died about 12 or 13 years ago from a snakebite. Distressed, Malini called Suryakant home and told him everything. She also showed him the boy's face using the camera footage. Upon seeing the boy's face, Suryakant was also deeply unsettled. He told Malini that they would go to the boy's home to meet him.

Scene 4 – At 6 PM, Malini and her husband Suryakant found the snake charmers' address and arrived at their settlement. There, they met the leader, Nagnath. Nagnath revealed that they had found this young man near a river before 14 year back ; they had managed to save his life by extracting the snake's venom from his body. Malini burst into tears and exclaimed, "This is our son! Acting on what others told us, we had consigned Robin—who had died from a snakebite—to the river. We were told that victims of snakebites are cast into the river."

Afterward, Nagnath consulted with his associates and decided to hand over Pandya—also known as Robin—to his parents. His parents were overjoyed; his father, Suryakant, gave Nagnath 5 lakh rupees, saying, "There is no price for the love, upbringing, and care you provided for my son over all this time, but please accept this small token of appreciation from me."

Subsequently, they took Robin home. It took Robin (alias Pandya) some time to understand why he was there, but eventually, he began living very happily with his parents and younger sister.

Why do I feel that the film I have written is worthy of an award? Why?

You see, I am a great optimist; I understand the nuances of human behavior and the emotional bonds that tie people together. I believe that the profound depth of my film's unique subject matter—particularly the scene where a person is reunited with a child after thirteen or fourteen years—will evoke immense joy and a sense of peace in the audience. Through the portrayal of human emotions, I have crafted scenes that are deeply moving. I am confident that both the audience and critics will appreciate my film and nominate it for an award. Ultimately, life is a matter of chance. To elaborate further would simply amount to singing my own praises, which I do not deem necessary.

I saw your post after a long time, hope you are all well. It was really nice to read your story, from the beginning I was curious as to how this boy is actually related to Malini's son. When the mother finally gets her son back after so many years, that part was very emotional. It is heartwarming to think what a joy it would be especially for a mother to see her lost child again. You have beautifully incorporated both emotion and curiosity into the story. After reading it, I felt that it has the potential to be a good movie.

You are a good friend of mine, which is why you always praise my work; I had been quite ill for the past few days, which is why I was absent from Steemit. Now, I will try to focus on my writing again. Thank you very much.
