My first Steemian meetup during no less than the grandest festival in the Philippines; SINULOG!

SINULOG- The most popular festival in the Philippines with more than a million of devotees of Santo Niño (the child Jesus) coming from all parts of the country. The said religious and cultural festival is celebrated every third Sunday of January.

The festival showcases some of the country's traditions and ceremonies. On the very day of Sinulog, you can attend to the hourly mass in the Basílica Menor del Santo Niño Church. Simultaneously, on another area of the city, you can witness series of activities like Sinulog Grand Parade, street-dancing, Higantes (Enormous paper mache of various characters) and non-stop Sinulog chant throughout the city.

As Cebu -based Steemians, our core leaders ( @jassennessaj, @joancabz, @fernwehninja, @mikekenlytungal,@ninyea, and @maimaimaichan ) didn't allow for such astounding event to pass without the Steemians participating! This must be a perfect chance to meet, greet and spread the good word to Cebuanos!

While the street was full of performances, we, Steemians, were busy in our booth too!

Sinulog itself was fun however, meeting them doubled the amusement I felt at that time! It didn't feel like it was my first time meeting them!
