Watch any movie that speaks of success beyond money and fame and respond to the following:

I watched this movie, Forrest Gump, a long time ago, but I still consider it a good example, which shows that a person’s worth is not measured by money, prestige, or academic labels, but by character, kindness, and how they keep moving through life.

I guess it fits the theme of the week well because the film rejects the usual idea of success and replaces it with more human thinking to do your best, stay decent, and find meaning in ordinary life.

I feel that Forrest Gump is successful, not only about money, fame, or high status. It shows that a simple man can live a meaningful life through honesty, kindness, patience, and hard work.

How did the movie define success?

Forrest keeps moving forward without comparing himself to others, and that is what makes his journey powerful. The film suggests that real success is living with a good heart, doing your best, and making a positive difference in the lives of people around you.

Forrest Gump is simple but loves life, and success means little to him. I felt he showed that a person does not need to be rich or famous to live a meaningful life. Forrest keeps moving forward with honesty, patience, and kindness, and that is why his journey feels so powerful.

I felt touched when Forrest said, “My mama always said, ‘Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get.'

I also felt elated when I heard him say, “Stupid is as stupid does,” which matches my own thinking that actions matter more than labels.

Which character had a life you admired most?

Although I would have stuck around Forrest, if there was another character I admired most after him, it was Lieutenant Dan. He showed his life was powerful because he started with anger, loss, and hopelessness but slowly found purpose again through friendship and acceptance.

If you ask my opinion, what made him admirable was not that he was perfect, but that he changed. He moved from bitterness to peace, and that gave the film a strong message, the message that life could become meaningful even after deep failure or pain.

There is another character, Jenny, with an important role, but to me, Lieutenant Dan felt more inspiring because his journey was about healing, dignity, and rebuilding himself. We can add Mrs. Gump his mom as her role is important because she taught Forrest simple life wisdom and supports him unconditionally.

What lesson about success did you take away?

The ultimate lesson of Forrest Gump is that money is no gauge of success or fame, or high status takes you to the top. This movie shows that even a simple man can live a meaningful life being honest, kind, patient, and with his willingness to work hard.

Forrest has all these qualities therefore keeps moving forward without comparing himself to others, and that is what makes his journey powerful. This film suggests that real success is living with a good heart, doing your best, and making a positive difference in the lives of your loved ones and also people around you.

Some people thought Forrest was dumb or his low IQ kept him back in life but that was his innocence and purpose of life. Once he was guided by his mother, he served in Vietnam war, and befriended others, he achieved unexpected success, and became inspiration for others. He did not care for anything worldly but only cared for Jenny, proving that true love matters most.

Welcome to Steemit challenge season 31| movie Magic week2

Good selection of movie!
I appreciate the effort put into the movie.

Success yes is not always defined by fame and money, I also loved how this movie defined success.

Thanks, I watch too few movies and most of my movies are old school so they stay in my mind. I enjoy writing about the ones which make any impact and as I said money is not everything but inner satisfaction of doing something is prime. Have a great day!

¡Saludos amigo!🤗

Thanks, i will come and see what movie you select and how it makes an impact.
