I started getting sick of listening to studio perfected music, and have been listening to a tonne of live performances instead. My favourite venue recently (besides KEXP) is the NPR Tiny Desk Concerts.

That performance above never stops blowing my mind. How tight they are, the quality of sound, and the mistakes! Yes, give me those real and honest mistakes! It's what I crave in music these days. Realness.
Alt-J (stylised as alt-J, or ∆) is an English indie rock band formed in 2007 in Leeds, by Joe Newman (guitar/lead vocals), Thom Sonny Green (drums), Gus Unger-Hamilton (keyboards/vocals) and Gwil Sainsbury (guitar/bass).
I actually listen to the Atlantic Countdown on Sunday mornings. I'm amazed by the quality of music in those four little provinces...especially Cape Breton, and around Halifax and St. John, N.B.
AWESOME STUFF!!
Alt-J are my kind of weirdos.
Tight is right! Pretty talented bunch. Are they Maritimes based, or...?
English I believe...
Yea...the one guy's accident was definitely English.

I do try to keep my music mistakes to a minimum...LOL
Neil Young was an artist who I noticed leaves mistakes in his recordings! It makes is so much more raw and emotional... to me anyhow.
