A wedding ceremony is a social event and these events are joyous and social events because two families come together to celebrate the wedding ceremony, eat and drink, sing and dance, and wear new clothes to go to the wedding ceremony. In addition, the events are still seen in rural areas. The event lasts for three days, from the wedding procession to the arrival of the bride and groom's family. In addition, the events are held together and for the event, the relatives of the groom and his family come to each other's houses and eat and drink. In rural areas, the people of the area who accept the wedding gather together and everyone rejoices and eats.

In our village, the traditional and ceremonial event is the wedding ceremony because the wedding ceremony is a time of joy and enjoyment, such as a few days before the wedding, the family members arrange everything and plan for the ceremony. In addition, the bride and groom go to the bride's house and they also come to the groom's house. The relatives gather together, eat, drink, sing and enjoy. Now, most of the ceremonies are held in community centers or other places, but everyone spends less time eating and praying for the groom so that their life is happy. But they wear beautiful clothes along with the food and drink.

In your community, why is this festival or tradition important to your community?

In our village, marriage is a traditional and a part of the community and an important aspect because marriage is the bringing together of two people and along with this coming together, joy and relatives come together to eat and drink, moreover, we still have wedding ceremonies here according to the old rules. For example, around the wedding ceremony, besides eating and drinking, they wear beautiful clothes and hope to go to each other's houses, besides eating and drinking, they get to know each other and relatives come together on the occasion of the wedding ceremony, besides starting a new life, that's why everyone gives gifts and prayers for them, this is an important part of the old culture in our village.

In our rural areas, BA ceremonies are seen in many cultures, such as daily rituals, music, food and drink, and the ceremony of coming together. Everything can be observed, such as two families coming together on this occasion, along with good food, they give each other many kinds of things, songs are played on the occasion, and a yellow ceremony is performed. Moreover, after eating and drinking at each other's houses, relatives gather and at that time everyone wears new clothes and goes to the relative's house and gets acquainted with new relatives. This is an important part of the wedding ceremony, which is a matter of ethics and culture.

To be honest, what I liked most about this wedding celebration was the gathering of relatives and neighbors, and the joy from the ceremony to the end of the wedding, especially the joy of eating and drinking, wearing beautiful clothes, and going to the wedding ceremony with each other, and getting to know each other again. In fact, the gathering of relatives and neighbors is a different kind of joy because apart from the wedding ceremony, not everyone comes together like this, and for this reason, I liked it more because marriage means joy, laughter, and eating and drinking.

Our community weddings mean a different kind of joy because everyone comes together at the wedding, relatives, family and society all come together, so there is joy here and at the same time they can meet each other and eat and drink. Moreover, weddings mean enjoying something beautiful and I think in rural areas, weddings are always a different kind of joy, from the yellow color to the very breath of the wedding, so I think it is not just about eating and drinking that everyone comes together at such weddings and having fun. Marriage means respect, love and joy for each other, and the whole family comes together.
