I took this recently while seeing how using an Extension tube with my sony 24 to 240lens would work for Macro, till I can afford to buy a macro lens,, its a bit fiddly to get the focus right but kind of happy with how this one came out
This photo taken by me using a Sony A6500 mirrorless camera with my 24-240 Sony Lens and using an extension tube at 89mm F5.6 and 1/60

Great picture man! Welcome to #thealliance! Look forward to seeing more fabulous photos :) I got stung by one of those in the ear one time when I was three. I was popping the eye out of the minnows in the minnow bucket because they had these cool little lenses I thought were little marbles and I guess nature said that's enough of that and hit me. LOL
Thanks Mate I got stung by a bee on the chin when I was 6 that's when me and my fanily found I was allergic to bee stings
Fortunately I thing I grew out of the allergy got stung a couple of years ago and it didn't swell up to much
Yeouch. Good thing you outgrew the allergy!
Ohh yes they got me a few times but luckily only once on my face, was so glad when nothing much happened last time :)

You need a lot of patience with bugs and things. I have not yet managed to capture a hummingbird, as they are so darned quick. You need to be sitting by the flowers all day waiting for them.
Yeah I spent about an hour once tring to get a good shot of a hummingbird and failed miserably LOL
I have a friend in Scotland who photographs birds. She has a bird hide in her back yard and sits in it for hours!
Yeah to be a birder you sure need patience

Nice work, a good macro lens can set you back quite a bit. I think this gets the job done nicely and it doesn't break the bank.
Yeah for sure there not cheap this will do me for a while :)
