An extremely touristy day out on the islands and crystal clear aquamarine sea of south Thailand

It has been a very long time indeed since i did anything remotely touristy.. but today i sure made up for it! Last night I impulsively bought a ticket for a day tour of some of the small islands in Thailand, which includes Phi Phi Island, monkey island, and Maya Island. It also included some snorkelling and swimming in several special spots that are well known for corals and many colourful fish. I have to be honest that for the last, VERY long time, i have been going out very little at all, almost not at all.. and was even wondering if I still had it in me to take on a full day program, in the beating sun and heat of a Thai summer, and without my little after noon nap! There's only one way to find out, so I set my alarm to 6:30am and did my best to go to sleep early
