A weather block

While the heatwave continues here, albeit a little cooler, life has to carry on regardless.

We have a run of northerly winds due to a high pressure area just to the west of the uk. Even though it is summer you might think that would keep temperatures down a bit. Well, it probably does in the extreme north of Scotland but here in the southeast of England it still feels hot in the afternoon.

Its a great summer so far! I hope this continues for some time. Obviously, at some point the weather will break as it always does in these latitudes. When the wind changes to south westerly direction, thatcwill do it!

I snapped a lovely swan swimming along on it's own. It was looking at me and expecting me to throw food. Sorry, I don't have anything suitable
