A Rainy Saturday Morning
A rainy morning;
clouds releasing nourishment.
Watching and listening;
rain is comforting.
Wet squirrel runs from red oak
along the wooden swing set bridge to the pecan tree;
looking for breakfast, but finds a squirrel friend instead;
chases him and jumps into the golden raintree.
Puddles form from God's generosity.
Me observing;
thankful, calm and grateful;
praying all could see these blessings...
Have a Blessed Day!

I remember not long ago, you were praying for rain!
Hermoso poema y lindo lugar en contacto con plantas y flores, me encanta, @violemed. Saludos.
Lovely poem. We will not be blessed with rain here for another few months. I know its raining today but that patio looks like a squirrel playground :)
Thank you! Yes, the squirrels have a lot of fun in our backyard, as long as Pepper, our dog, is asleep! She chases and barks at them when they are in the biredseed feeder or stealing pecans from our tree!
