Sea Slater (ligia pallasii)

🦐 a large intertidal isopod, similar in appearance to the familiar wood lice found in gardens except much larger. This individual was 2" long.

🦐Ligia pallasii feeds on dead plants and animals, and the algal film from upper intertidal rocks.

🦐frequently found in the caves and crevices of sea cliffs
