I would have labeled the yarn "self-striping" but of course it depends on your number of stitches per row or round. On a sweater, it might be more ombre than stripe. Pretty, though.
I agree with you, @fiberfrau... it's a very misleading label to me though. I've now run out of the 100g skein so my daughter's got to decide how we finish it to achieve the width - I'm not buying any more of it or I'll end up having some left :D
