hach, ich bin beruhigt... Shortly I was frightened about a new found love to sew knitted things :-DDD
I think I already tried out the magic knot but did not trust its stability. And with the second technique, I am not sure if I understand it (mein Räumliches denken ist nur mittel ausgeprägt)
But I would so like to use all the yarn rests without sewing all the 💩 in. I still have two!! whole cardigans lying around which must me finished (buttons and yarnends....). I really don't like to do this.
Me neither. I hate it with the passion of a thousand fiery suns... For my old Singer sewing machine I had a thingie that could sew on buttons. Ask me why ;)
So strange that something so simple like sewing on buttons (or sewing in yarn ends) can arouse such strong feelings. I still have hope to convince Silvia (the artist friend who is sometimes on my photos) to sew my cardigans. She hates to wash the dishes and I offered to wash the mugs in her studio (huge number of mugs, from her students) if she finishes my cardigans.... we will see....
