On Sunday's for fun, I let the kid's eat candy and stuff. Cause they are not my kid's and they go home to their Mom and Pop :)
I suppose that's fun for you but probably not for their parents. Haha I like your contest entry though. This is something my grandparents did with me when I was little. :-) They loved doting on me. My mom? Not so much.
lol, yup, that's what makes it fun, You have them while they have energy and full of life, the parents Full of energy and tired ;) And they do love the feeling of being special and freedom.

For me it is going out on weekend drives with my family in the country. I live in Australia in the city of Brisbane. Over the last 5 years it has started to become really busy. There's people everywhere, noise all around, people are more stressed and I find myself screaming on inside needing to get away from it all. Most weekends we jump in the car with our kids and we just drive... we don't usually go with purpose other than to have fun and unwind. We stop on the side of the road at farm gate stalls, have picnic lunches, we stop and feed carrots to horses, we talk to the cows and have a laugh, we pick fruit if we find it growing in nature, we've made paper boats and stopped in at a running stream and had paper boat races. Life doesn't need to be so complicated, I enjoy the small things. Fresh air, wide open spaces, nature and time spent with my family! : )
Oh... and taking photos to treasure these moments!

It seems to bring you back down to earth. I even see I huge change in my kids. They can be stressed and high strung from their weekly routines, give them a couple of hours out in the country and they're different kids.
We didn't go for a few weeks in a row and they were driving me crazy and I realised why... they weren't getting that down time, that time away to just feel free. It makes a huge difference to our lives. We're hoping to move out the city soon, this isn't the life for me! : )
That sounds like a really good idea. I bet you'll be a lot happier.

I love to play with my kids. Sometimes that's on the computer, sometimes it's a huge tickle-fest. But that really is my favorite thing to do for fun.
Kids are fun!
