Someone just scared me by making some good points that this could be how the American empire falls like so much Roman Empires of old did, etc.
@davidpakman Would it be lying to say that Trump probably won't be the end of the United States as we know it? Are we too far already?
Yeah there are a lot of crazy coincidences; like getting lost in a never ending war in Iraq... despite being on the opposite side of the world.
I like to joke about how America wanted to inherit the grandeur of the Roman Empire, and went down to the detail of importing Roman style corruption.
