This was actually an interesting read. I always felt like Ace’s death wasn’t just for shock value, but more about pushing the story forward and hitting Luffy’s growth hard. It’s one of those moments that feels unfair… but also kind of necessary for the narrative shift . Still hurts though, not gonna lie.
