Sweet vocals! There is quite a range on this song.

I keep trying to listen deeper in the lyrics, a lot like REM, 'Losing my Religion' is not about any church but about worshipping women, I think this song is going in the opposite direction, idolizing a particular woman and the connection that he can have with her.

Philosophically I don't think sex is a satisfying replacement to true spiritual deepening, and so it hurts me when a song like this gets so popular, I worry that some people might not look deeper and will have to find out for themselves, the hard way, that the type of relationship portrayed in this song is unhealthy, for both parties.
