I'm one of those ebb and flow people, as in I follow my current urging and go with what feels right, and lately the outdoors and plants have been calling me so that's where I've been lately.

It all started on Saturday...

Saturday

On Friday afternoon Hubby actually took me out shopping for canvases and since we did all our shopping (or so we thought) on Friday, Saturday was meant to be a painting day for me but that didn't happen.

Instead I decided to give my succulents some love for a change and finally move plants from the rescue terrarium into a pot and get my mail out succulents sorted out.

I'm not sure how long it usually takes for cuttings to grow but these have been at it most of the year and I feel like they've gone no where. 👇

☝️ I picked put some of my faves and started filling the empty chocolate box.

Then it was time to move everything into a "terrarium" environment.

I figured it could be the lack of water that's stopping these from growing quickly and since my rescue terrarium worked so well and self watered figured it could work..

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

Sunday was unexpected. After spending the day before with the succulents and knowing I had new canvases waiting for me I really thought it'd be painting day but we ended up going out and found ourselves at Bunnings ~ as we do.

Ever since we built the grow house the retaining wall has been in disarray and we have lost our badass crop of spring onions. Hubby wanted his springies back and wanted a small herb garden near the deck so we can do late night harvests if we need to without going into the grow house.

Long story short this is what happened 👇

Turned out to be a mammoth size herb garden.

Sunday and Monday were build, cardboard and soil day.

Tuesday was more soil and mulch day.

Then there was my plant rescue missions.

Even after I hacked away at the asparagus, seems it's a survivor and I had to dig them all out along with my creeping thyme as Hubby was building the garden bed.

☝️ Not wanting to move my ranunculus plants especially since they miraculously came back this year I capped the herb garden to line up with the grow house.

Then I decided to plant the Apollo tomatoes in the veggie beds cos I saw a guy on YouTube do it successfully 😆 🤞 Hope it works for me!!

This is how the herb garden is looking this morning.

This is the most mulch we've ever put on ever. Plus there's a mulch border around the garden bed. I'm hoping this time around we can keep the grass at bay longer. 🤞

So yeh! That's pretty much where I've been lately. Haven't spent much time online but a lot outdoors.

I'm at 28 weeks today which apparently is the start of the third trimester and our midwife is coming around to check on me this afternoon.

She's got this contraption that let's me hear the baby's heart beat so that would be cool to experience again. I enjoy hearing bub's little heart thumping even though I know she's fine judging by the kicks and movements.

Art wise.. I got my bottles! Not the ones I was waiting for but there's a story to that for later, so expect pours sometime soon.
