As you may know by now, Moraine Lake, Banff National Park is one of my favourite spots in the Canadian Rockies. 20 minutes driving distance from Lake Louise, it's a must visit destination if you are ever in the area! Hiking and Canoeing are the two main activities it offers (if you call photography an activity, than three).
In the first photo, "The Tower of Babel" can be conspicuously seen in the first photo. In the last photo, the great "Rock Pile" can also be seen, created as the glacier receded. Have you been to Moraine Lake?
The added smells of the forest and fresh air would be the finishing touches to the experience. The tropics is nice but Canada tugs at my adventure strings! haha
these photos are amazing and yet i bet they don't do that place justice, hope i get to see it in real life some day
I agree completely. Amazing!!
