It's the best compact mirrorless system at the moment - leaving aside the excellent sensor technology, the optics are amazing for their price. Check out a couple of the reviews online, folks are raving about it.
I, myself, prefer DSLRs!
I'm already pretty happy with the M3 and the compatibility with my 5DII lenses and other accessories is really what I was looking for, so the smaller mirrorless backup camera had to be Canon as well.
I will look at some reviews of the Fuji though, my last experience with that brand was a while ago, and as I remember they make more sensitive sensors, but that also results in more noise :)
