Mid-Rise or Low Rise?
In Dubai, there are a lot of building types, from attached townhouses to detached villas, mansions, palaces; low rise apartment buildings, all the way to the tallest skyscraper in the world, that is Burj Khalifa.
People have different preferences when it comes to their style of living, I've tried them all here in Dubai except for the attached townhouses which I don't understand the living concept of it, although I understand the cutting cost behind its structure.
For me personally, I prefer to live in a mid-rise apartment building, mid-rise in Dubai means more than 5 floors up to 12, then it starts with high rise, while skyscrapers start from over 35 floors, there are hundreds of those in this city and in other Emirates especially in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
This is a small rise followed by a mid-rise buildings seated opposite to each other in a mid-class, more toward upper-class district in Dubai called Arjan:
