Photo puzzle - Name the city [3 SBD reward pool]
Update: The puzzle could not be solved, before removing the 12th puzzle piece (3 SBD - 12*0.25 SBD = 0 SBD). Thus, the reward of 3 SBD will be transferred to the next photo puzzle increasing the pool size to 6 SBD!
Now here to the solution:
The city in which I have taken this photo is: Dublin, Ireland !
Thanks everyone for participating! I'm looking forward to welcoming you to the next instance of the photo puzzle!
Greetings Steemians!
After yesterday's photo puzzle was positively received and solved VERY quickly, I thought I'd come up with a new and hopefully more challenging one right away. Please note, that I made a few extensions to the rules.
So let's play again:
In which city have I taken this photo?
Name the puzzle piece you want to see removed in a comment. As soon as I have updated the image I'll notify you with a reply stating 'updated'. After that you have 5 Minutes maximum to reply with your guess! If no guess is placed within this time frame I will skip the round and proceed with removing the next puzzle piece in the queue. So make sure to stay tuned during the course of the game.
First correct answer will be rewarded with 3 SBD minus 0.25 SBD for each removed puzzle piece.
Only the Steemian who has removed a puzzle piece can place the subsequent guess. Puzzle pieces will be removed in chronological order each time after the previous user has either placed a wrong or no guess.
Please note that each Steemian can guess only once! Therefore, the higher risk of guessing early in the game is rewarded higher.
Have fun and happy guessing!

Hi @shaka I just wanted to get this message out to you. Which is......
Thank you!
Thank you for noticing my efforts here on steemit and supporting my work. It means so very much to me. Have a great day!

Da war ich mal sowas von weit daneben :-D
Mit Dublin hätte ich mal gar nicht gerechnet. Der Turm hatte für mich etwas typisch Süddeutsches und das hohe Gebäude links und die Dächer etwas Amerikanisches.

I guess I know the tower in C3 but I think I can't remember the name of the city.
Freiburg?
Nein, Freiburg ist es nicht. Danke fürs mitmachen!
Da passt auch das Gebäude links nicht dazu. Jetzt bin ich echt gespannt ob es mir noch einfällt bevor es gelöst wird. :-)
Na toll. Nächstes Mal löse ich es einfach ;)

Wow, that doesn’t seem fair to the first one who ask removal :)
Seattle ;)
That's not the right city. Thanks a lot for participating.
May I suggest @shaka, that you remove time limit altogether? One guess by contestant, but whenever he decides to guess. First who guess, wins.
The problem with that is that the whole flow would be stalled if the participant doesn't place a guess. Could take hours or even days.
No, it wouldn’t, @shaka. Look, everyone who open a piece has the right to one guess. You are opening, let’s say, third piece, and the first two did not take their guess. The third one can guess without waiting for the first or second. You don’t wait for the first or second. You do not “skip” anyone. That would stimulate them not to wait but put their guesses before someone give a correct answer.
Less work, fair conditions.
This way you are putting the first contestant to rely at pure luck only :)
Please, think about it.
If I wouldn't wait for a user making a guess and keep removing puzzle pieces as the comments come in, presumably half the image would be revealed already in the first update (in particular, if users know in advance that their odds remain the same no matter how early they participate)
You are right, the odds are lower the earlier you guess, but therefore, the potential rewards are higher. As of now we are already down at 0.75 SBD.
Thanks for you sharing your thoughts!
For example, I was forced to guess after one piece, and now I would say Istanbul.
