Every time I read her poems I am left with a clear mind and the desire to better myself and those around me.
It can be hard for some of us to find our true selves when we are in some way being tuned to follow the lives of others. Glorifying things that have no meaning or value.

Be Yourself
Why would you want to be someone else
When you could be better by being yourself
Why pretend to be someone you are not
When you have something they haven't got
Cheating yourself of the life you have to live
Deprives others of that only which you can give
You have much more to offer by being just you
Than walking around in someone else's shoes
Trying to live the life of another is a mistake
It is a masquerade; nothing more than a fake
Be yourself and let your qualities show through
Others will love you more for being just you
Remember that God loves you just as you are
To Him you are already a bright shining star
Family and friends will love you more too

This poem making me realize that we are pretending,acting to be someone else.We took our life for acting like that,we never can't do what we wanna do,what we wanna tell,what we wanna listen,what we wanna dream about we always pretend.But if we can take the best out of us that can also produce something great.So just be your self it will make you happy,when you are happy you can make others happy.
The beauty of authenticity. Everyone is great the way he is. We sabbotage our greatness by being fake.
