I'm probably a lot older than you are but when I was a kid people didn't own TVs, they rented them. I remember the first TV we bought was in 1973 and it was still working when I moved house about 8 years ago and I chucked it.

Not sure how old you are, though will say I am 52, and wow to that tv, you will not be finding any from this year working in 20 or 30 years time, sad to say.
