RE: Putrid Politics: Left Vs. Right

in #politics7 years ago

Hey @rhethypo, first off let me say that I have thoroughly enjoyed this series of yours. I too lean to the right but I've never just voted republican just because I am one. I think most Republicans would say that as well. I believe we make our decisions based on our morals and logic, so many policies I've heard of coming from the other side just make no sense.

And when you challenge those on the left and ask about these policies and present a clear and logical case against them... their argument is always you're racist, or sexist etc.

I am 41 years old. And maybe I'm just paying more attention now, I don't know but I don't remember things ever being this polarized.

As long as we keep looking behind... we will never move forward. We have regressed, all the progress we've made has been flushed down the toilet. We are such a divided country. A nation divided is easily conquered right?

I'm glad you liked the series. Some of the lefties these past couple weeks just rubbed me the wrong way, so I decided to really give them something to complain about, lol.

Indeed, a country divided, especially on fundamental morals, will not stand for long. I'm personally a bit optimistic, though I still have bouts of cynicism at times. Overall, I think the Left will always lose in the long run. Constantly, their policies and ideas are being shown as the morally bankrupt failures that they are. It's just a matter of making sure they are forced to defend their positions, and reasonable people will slowly but surely see the truth once the evidence is presented.
