Thanks for the tip about the .la domain, it worked like a charm for me. I will definitely start keeping a backup list of mirrors in a notepad like you suggested to avoid this stress. It is much better than hunting for links every time a mirror goes down. I am glad I could finally get in and finish my work for the day.
