Aha yeah the best way to make it real for a new user is to make your first purchase with money you got for your thoughts. Even after a year and the success I've seen I still struggle to get people to accept that this is real and happening now.
I mean, it really does seem too good to be true, but I think it is because a lot of people don't understand that there is still a lot of good work that goes into putting out a quality post, and getting it recognized by the community. Either way, we're here and trying to spread Steem around, so that is all that matters for now!
