The Uworld U1 is an interesting glimpse into the future of affective robotics. While the "Resonance-LM" and realism in its physical design are great achievements, a key question arises: can programming a companion solve the issue of "loneliness" or just end up diminishing our ability to deal with interpersonal relationships?
I suggest you to see an episode of Futurama called "I dated a robot".. You'll find there the answer.
Thank you for the recommendation. I have gone through (episode 3 & season 15 of futurama ) I Dated a Robot and understand why you picked that title. The plot seems to say that while an AI or robot can serve as a source of comfort and companionship, dependence on it may sever relationships between humans. I think this theme is relevant even today, in the times of increasingly sophisticated AI tools. It seems to me that technology should assist rather than substitute for human relations because true relations can include empathy and development that cannot be replicated by technology.
It's a Fact that Someone can manipulate one's life through certain technology creation without noticed.
