"New research seems to prove the theory that brainy people spend more time lazing around than their active counterparts.
Findings from a US-based study seem to support the idea that people with a high IQ get bored less easily, leading them to spend more time engaged in thought.
And active people may be more physical as they need to stimulate their minds with external activities, either to escape their thoughts or because they get bored quickly."

People who are lazy is not bored because they are thinking of there knowledge and ideas.

Very interesting - I do find that I like my down time and really need it to re-charge my batteries. This is definitely a very interested perspective on why that may be .. thank you for sharing!! Now we have a reason to tell people when we want to veg out. lol

I read somewhere that intelligent people have a tendency to use the snooze button more than others. Do spending time getting out of bed in the morning may be a sign that you're above average intelligent.

hehe I can get so lost in my thoughts, with creative thoughts lol Finding balance with thinking and acting, putting into action these thoughts is another story (get it, story, because I write stories lol). Anyway, yes, often times I seem to be lazy, but a lot goes on in this anxious and creative mind of mine.

hmm this is a really interesting concept. I can entertian the idea for sure. it sounds like it makes sense. However, I've always viewed it the other way around in that intelligent people get bored more quickly than the less inclined. Would like to see some more scientific evidence about this. Nonetheless, a nice little read. Guess I won't feel to bad when I'm laying around watching movies later tonight lol.
