RE: HF21: Where our Tribes will provide a buffer against all the big changes?

in #scot7 years ago

I'll just go ahead and be honest. If it wasn't for these new developments in the form of tribes, I don't think I'd be able to find a reason to be here. I realize a lot of us put a tremendous amount of effort into our posts. I'll spend countless hours producing images, before I even spend an hour or two formulating a post. It's no secret, I work for money. I also need eyes. I was losing both of those crucial elements at a steady rate. I can't work for 25 cents an hour, and not have anyone see it.

Since the tribes, I'm even gathering new followers, which was almost impossible way back in December when I took a break. After working for nearly three years and sensing I was only going in reverse, it's easy for me to notice a drastic improvement. Tribes are a game changer. I don't even have to look at Steemit's trending page and get pissed off anymore for something to do. I curate as well and now it's much easier for me to find what I'm looking for, AND help boost those I feel are deserving up nice and high so others can see. Everything has a purpose again. Before, every action just felt like a losing battle.

Yes, I feel you, and I think many people will feel some recognition when reading your comment. There's a lot of people that left full of disillusion but also came back just because of the Tribes. And although it's depressing the state of Steem made them leave I'm pretty excited the Tribes were 'enough' of a change to make them be here again.

The thing with 'eyes' is one we should try to solve for sure. I noticed new followers too especially now on #creativecoin. I'm following new users myself too just for that reason - I literally notice different posts and even browsing the 'new' tag is interesting.

Another thing is: @hiddenblade recently had huge success with posting her work on Reddit - 11400 likes or however that's called over there. And she's a new user on Reddit! Maybe you can consider a similar approach: post your stuff on there. @ocd is even rewarding you for sharing stuff on Reddit if that's something you'd like to explore.

Anyway, thanks for sharing :-)

This man https://www.youtube.com/user/fyrstikken/videos and his cult are killing people with V2K. I have put up with their dumb shit for over 3 years. He is oozing pompous unchecked power. History will not be kind to @fystikken.
steempeak.com/@fyrstikken is part of the gang stalking group steempeak.com/@steemspeak ran by @fyrstikken, that uses Voice to Skull. This comment is here to let people know. They use this for market manipulation and greed. Low life pieces of shit. I hope you rot it prison or worse.
This is not a warning, it's a fact. Voice to skull will read your thoughts first without your knowledge for a long time, to map you. They then include transmitting self octave scale-able comments into your head to a tight, pulsed pace, indefinitely. Any brain activity, even the smallest, will trigger this when sound is turned on. You have to do all of your thinking around this. It is extreme torture, done by monsters.
@fyrstikken your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special, your so special.

I've been finding little ways to share my work outside of this place, for years. Only the entertainment stuff though. I've had some success.

I've been an opponent of anything that could potentially take eyes away from this platform, for years. You know that. A lot of people know that. I'm glad there's less of a reason now to write those posts. A lot of what I said caught on as well, so I don't regret it, even though speaking out so much in the past could be why I lost some support. Such is life. Can't impress everyone.

I can easily bring in some outside talent now with something like CCC and #creativecoin in place. Before, I tried, but nobody wanted to be outperformed by a shitpost meme. There's a reason why nobody gets away with heckling at the comedy show, for instance. ... but that's a ramble for another day.
