Hey guys! Welcome back to my blog. For this week's speemclips challenge with @marvinvelasquez, I decided to do a singing cover.

This challenge focuses on picking a niche and showing who we are on Speem. For me, singing is definitely the space where I feel most at home and comfortable expressing myself.

What is your niche? Why did you choose it?

My chosen niche is Art (Music). I chose this because music has been a huge part of my life since childhood. I grew up in a musical house. My mother is a Visharada (a certified master of classical music), which gave me a deep love for the art from a young age. My dad also shaped my taste by introducing me to old songs from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, while my older brother got me into Western and English music. This mix of songs heavily shaped my own style. Singing is where I feel most comfortable, and it allows me to share my true self with the community.

What type of content can you create for your niche?

I will mainly be creating singing covers and performance videos, focusing on the old classics and English songs that inspire me. Along with singing, I will also be sharing piano content to show my skills on the keyboard and keep my Speem page interesting.

My Videos so Far

To date, I have published 2 videos in this niche on Speem. Both videos got good results, but one definitely stood out more.

• Best received video: My singing cover of "My Way" was the best received. It got a lot of great feedback and nice engagement from the community.

• Least viewed video: My piano cover of Beethoven's "Für Elise" was the least viewed of the two. It still did well, but the singing video clearly got the better response, which shows that singing is the right main direction for my niche.

My Entry

For today's entry, I wanted to try something really cool and smooth. I decided to do a singing cover of the classic song "Just the Two of Us". It is one of my favorite tracks, and it really fits into the style of music I love to share here. I hope you guys enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed singing it!
