RE: Regular investing with SteemPower Investments with SPI tokens

in #spinvest7 years ago (edited)

Great idea about the buying plan, I had been thinking about a similar thing myself.
I don't understand the spreadsheet:

  • the right hand steem value column: does this refer to the value of the SE coins held or the value of the estimated weekly earnings of those coins?
  • steem savings of £52.33 where are these from? I notice it is the same as the total of steem value column. Are they the same thing or two different things?
  • the unleased balance - I guess this is around 400SP and will change from week to week?
  • how are you calculating the value of the SE earnings? can you include your formulas (appreciate these might change as the value of each coin rises and falls, but a snap shot would be good).

I'm having trouble differentiating between the value of the holdings and how these are calculated and the value of the forecast earnings and how these are calculated.
Many thanks :)

SPI holds some BTC in an exchange. Those 52.33 STEEm are the conversion from those Bitcoins into Steem.

  • the right hand column is value of the SE holdings
  • Steem savings is the money made from leasing. It's a coincidence that's its the exact same as BTC holdings
  • Yes, the unleased balance changes as tokens are issued and lease's are cancelled
  • Add up weekly earnings from everything and times it by 4, there's no special formula

The forecast earning are based on the 1st month's earnings, they are pretty much the same. If we were to stay at 10,000 tokens issued, this is what we should earn. I calculate them by adding on the incomes together.

Ah lovely, thank you. I'll have another look tomorrow :)
Thanks for the giveaway, a lot of work there. Good fun, though!
