Boxing promoter Bob Arum has participated in a heated debate over rematch between The Filipino Pride Manny Paquiao against undefeated Floyd Mayweather in his recent twitter war.

Arum helps and assist in Pacquiao's boxing career.

"He performed very well," Arum said this Monday at a Top Rank event in Belfast, Ireland.

During the rematch, Arum advised Pacquiao to calm down and take care of himself after his last fight with Thurman.

"He should watch himself because I have had experiences with other, older fighters," said the Harvard-educated lawyer.

Arum believes Pacquiao should stop going to the ring "unless he gets to fight Floyd Mayweather in a rematch."

In the end, however, Arum still relinquished the boxing senator's decision.

"But it's his call," Arum said.

Arum has been Pacquiao's promoter for 10 years and includes these Pacman wins over Oscar De La Hoya, Miguel Cotto, Ricky Hatton, Erik Morales, Juan Manuel Marquez, Antonio Margarito and Shane Mosley.

Pacquiao remembers challenging Mayweather after defeating young and undefeated Thurman at the MGM Grand and the two figured in a verbal war on social media.

Mayweather, 42, a legitimate boxing champion, has been without a fight since defeating Andre Berto in September 2015, just months after his unanimous decision to win against Pacquiao.
