The Diary Game || Date: May 27, 2026 || I am sharing with you an article from one of the most important days of this year.
Dear Steemian friends,
I’m @azit1980
From #bangladesh
I am starting today's important blog with love and deep respect for you, and I hope everyone is well. My prayers are with you.
Tomorrow is the holy Eid al-Adha. I wish everyone advance Eid greetings, and may it bring a beautiful and peaceful message of the holy Eid to everyone's lives. Not only that, but I also pray that we are human beings and that our hearts may be filled with humanity. Every year, I go to the cattle market with friends or acquaintances on Eid al-Adha, but this time I didn't go with anyone. The offices were closed for Eid, so everyone went home to their own villages. I don't feel comfortable being alone at home, so a large cattle market has been set up near our house. I walked to the cattle market. It has rained heavily for the last two days. If it rains from now on, the condition of those bringing cows to the cattle market will be very bad, and buyers will also be unable to go to the market properly. The length of this cattle market will be about half a kilometer. Earlier, this market was not so long, but its length has increased in the last two years. There is no such big cattle market in the vicinity.
I go to the cattle market and look at the cows around me and see which one is bigger. Actually, there are a lot of cows in this cattle market, and according to my information, 500-600 cows have been sold so far. There is still a lot of time; tomorrow is Eid in Bangladesh, so those who still have cows today will definitely buy them. The price of cows will either increase or decrease in the end. However, most of the cows sold by the cow traders have been sold. The price of this cow has increased to 220,000 takas. If the cow seller offers 230,000 takas, I will sell it. I stood for a while and saw how much the cow was finally sold for. I stood for a long time, but the cow was not sold in the end. I took a picture of the cow and left the place. The cow market never ends; I just walk and watch the cows. It is impossible to understand how one can enjoy the joy of Eid without visiting the cow market. I spoke to a cow trader and took a picture with his cow.
Today I was observing the vow; everyone in the house is observing the vow. The vow is observed two days every month. I have been observing this for the past year, and my family has been observing it for many years. Seeing my wife observing it and my daughter also observing the vow, I thought if my daughter can observe it, why can't I? From then on, I started observing the vow. My wife is making a special arrangement at home on the occasion of the fast in the evening. Today she is making a new arrangement, she is frying onions in oil using the sabu that is available in the market, it was very fun to eat. I have never seen this method before. But it is very fun to eat. It looks like dry lacchi, but it is not; this is a new style of pola cooked. Especially in the village, no one has cooked or eaten anything at this stall. To be honest, no one in our village can cook in this style at home. In the village, people observe vows, but they cannot be eaten, so they are not eaten. My wife can cook very beautifully.
After eating the food cooked by my wife at home, I came to the railway track and sat for a while. The weather was so hot in the evening that I didn't feel comfortable at home. So I sat on the new railway track. Half an hour after I sat on the railway track, a train came. This train was going from Narayanganj to Dhaka. Sitting on the railway tracks as the sun sets and the sound of the train clanking is truly a joy, and this feeling is especially pleasant in the evening.
"Thank you so much for reading my wonderful post." |
