Community dining in Maldonado
Many people from Delia's dining room were surprised by the street shop and the possibility of taking clothes for free.
After several months of work, GET WARM reached the desired stage, to provide coats and a rewarding experience for the people who need it most.
After visiting the strategic point of initial donation several times I concluded that it was very massive but it was not reaching directly the people who have more need, so I decided to participate in a community dining room.
There they not only receive a plate of food but also have job placement workshops. As you can see in the pictures at this moment they are building a clay oven to be able to work the ceramics.
Presenting ourselves, helping to find clothes that fit them and informing about the project and the organization that made it possible were part of the talks.

Join a community with heart based giving at its core
This is really an awesome initiative and we are thinking of starting a thrift store and street sales initiative that can give people who really need, clothes for free. @ecodesigns is going to be coordinating this and putting the ideas into practice in January 2019
