I should hope by then they will have sorted the sign-up issues. When Steemit ready for millions of new users we need to tell the world.

steemit has a lengthy registration If process, I mean, I got someone to register, and she's been waiting since Saturday!
Its good though, manually checking to make sure no 1 exploits the process
They are manually checking people, but they are working to make it quicker. You can get an account quicker, but you have to pay for it.
I have my team working on some designs for the event...@destinysaid is in charge of that. By the way, @destinysaid has been trying to chat you up on steemit chat to learn about music
I also hope they will resolve the sign up issues soon
