Falling is Not the End: Nature’s Resilience and the Promise of Renewal!

Yesterday, there was a cyclone and rain all day. The Uttara area of ​​Dhaka city was also not left out of this violence of nature. It was exactly 5:00 PM when it was dark, and when I was standing in front of a showroom in Sector 4 of Uttara, waiting for a safe shelter during the storm, my eyes were caught on the flower garden in front.

Flower Garden.

The roar of the wind and the gust of rain were all around. I saw that these lovely flowering trees were struggling to survive in the gusts of the wind. Some branches were bent in the storm, some flowers fell on the ground. But a strange beauty was hidden even in that sadness. The raindrops accumulated on the flower petals and green leaves were shining like pearls. For a moment, I was lost in the watercolor world of those flowers and leaves.

I thought to myself, only these trees know what a terrible storm has swept over them in the past few hours. Maybe they are a little tired, a little exhausted at this moment. But seeing this struggle of nature, a deep sense of life played in my mind - ''All that is falling does not mean that it is over.'' Life is like that too! Some fall in adverse circumstances, while others dream of overcoming the storm and standing with their heads held high with double strength.

When I returned to the main road after the rain stopped, I saw that the city had returned to its familiar rhythm. The honking of buses, the noise of people and the hustle and bustle were all the same. But it may take some time for that devastated garden to regain its former form. That requires indomitable patience and a strong will to survive. Which it probably has.

I will return to that garden again, the garden that taught me the story of not giving up. That day, maybe the branches will not be this sad, but the garden will return more refreshed and lively. Because, nature reminds us again and again that after every storm in life, the sun appears again.
