Steemit Registration: How To Speed Up The Process
Over the last few weeks I've received numerous complaints from people about the wait time for creating a new Steemit account. Some users are claiming that the process now takes between 7-10 days. While this isn't necessarily a good thing, it does show that Steemit is onboarding more members than they ever have before... and that's good! But in today's video I will explain the lag time, plus I'll share two services you can use to onboard your friends and family faster.

What about a written text tutorial, I find my network unable to view your video post, because of the region I'm in now, would really love to follow in the series and share this knowledge as I onboard new steemians to the platform
Hi @mathemandy, I'm sorry but unfortunately I only have video posts at the moment. I will occasionally do written articles but I prefer video and my following seems to prefer it as well.

Thanks @brandonfrye I wish i had know about this earlier. I wonder if it is actually better slowly introducing new accounts to maintain the integrity of the platform, and then if it does go out of control should be somewhat manageable?!
Good question. I personally don't think there's anything wrong with the amount of accounts being added to the blockchain at a time. I think it's just backed up at the moment which is sort of a good problem to have. And once these users are on board it shouldn't be an issue. It's just a growing pain for the platform which I'm sure will be fixed as more and more users are creating accounts.
