steemit today according to google is as popular of a search term as namecoin was in 2013 ! namecoin went from under 1 dollar to 10 dollars in 2013!

I don't see the relation. These are just google searches. I don't believe this will accurately tell the price of a product in the future like you imply. But it is cool that steemit is gaining more popularity, and I am excited to see where it goes!
