I have been truly lost without my beloved Steemit!!
Oh the conversations I have had to make and last night the good lady even made me take out the bins because I had nothing to do.
But let's put bins and hard-forks behind us and move on!!

You recieved my first and last upvote today - first vote post hard fork. I went from 100% voting power to 21% with one 25% vote. Yesterday I had -17 quadrillion mana, so I guess it's coming back in baby steps.
The good news about this turn off unfortunate events is steem is on sale for a little while longer.
That is exactly what happened to me. It's a vote embargo till back up at 80% I reckon.
Some people have said that it is recovering faster so fingers crossed.
Might buy some in the sale!!
I also just noticed my voting power is kinda fuct, which was surprising - as I figured if my account was unable to vote for a day, the power would been restored to a higher percentage...? 🤔
Yeah I was excited that I was at nearly 100% and now after voting on one post it's 20. Kings don't know what to do now - like not vote for a few days to recharge? Seems shady!
And that's what just happened to me- it said I had a hundred percent, I voted on your post, and it's also 20--we must have all been reset to zero.
Yeah, we are forked voting wise. I think we will all have to lay off voting till it's back up high!!

I had read others saying it so I was expecting it but it still hurt to set it plummet!! 4 days eh, that's a long time to wait!
Also, if you use steem voter,I would go switch it off or you will never recover!
Well... Based off of this whole "RC" thing, we may not be able to get into any more long-winded comment back and forths. Oh well, not much you can do 'bout that, though it seems that high levels of interaction are being discouraged.
Also: Voting right now screws with your VP, and posting/commenting drags down your mana majorly.
So... what can we do?
What are we supposed to do? It seems like they're encouraging a lower level of traffic on the platform. And while I do agree that we all want to get rid of the Spammy interactions, I don't think reducing any non power-user's ability to interact is the way to go about it.
Huh. I think most (if not all) of this belongs on one of the main posts announcing this sort of thing. Might just go copy/paste it soon. Eh, most of the people on this platform whose opinions I care about will read this (MOST!)

Hopefully when it charges up to higher we will see some stabilisation as promised.
I am sure that it will allow regular posting/commenting till your sp is higher. I wonder how it will increase relative to that

I think I'm going to do a photo post a day with just a blurb and try and catch up on things for when it is 100% up and running. I hate having no voting power :/

I kind of haven't done them as they seem so simple but I don't want to make involved drawings as is my usual until we are all up and back to normal so it might be a fun, here is my day in one photo, opportunity whilst also getting work done for when we ARE back 100%.
Now is the time definitely! It will be fun. I think sometimes when the pressure is off to make longform posts it can be quite a happy release!
