We all are doing our best efforts to write an awesome post but still at the end we are left with cents showing on our posts. I know i have also been there and it hurts very bad.
I know that writing a high quality article is important but what if we are not getting anything for that.
We have to follow some other techniques as well to make sure that the article which we are writing is shown to the proper audience as well as it is upvoted by whales.
What are whales?
Whales are those accounts on steemit which have steempower in thousands. Their one upvote can even help you to get dollars on your post. Yes, i am not joking, it is possible. They have to power to even add hundreds on dollars on your posts.

How to get upvotes from whales?
You will have to find the whales on your own by checking accounts of those people who are earning a huge amount of rewards on their posts. They will charge some fees and you will have to pay them as well.
This is one of the best and awesome way to get some few dollars on your posts.
