STEEM TIPS - The one thing to make sure you're doing to capture a spike in sbd: 50/50 payouts!
Hey Minnows. I noticed some folks aren't capturing sbds right now, and that's CRAZY because they are currently sitting at over $5USD/1SBD. You want to make sure that you get as much value as you can right now for the posts you are writing.
The easiest way to ensure that you make the most out of your post is choose a 50:50 split of rewards at the time you write a post!
Step by step instructions
Click Post
Click "Rewards" - it's in the bottom right
Select "Default (50%/50%)
If you're doing "Power Up" then 100% of the rewards will come as Steem Power. Steem Power is great, but with SBD trading over 3X the price of Steem you're better off getting SBDs, and then trading them on the internal market for Steem Power so you 3X the amount of steem and then power it up.
Internal Market
In the top right of the screen there is the search function, your logo, and then the 3 bars. Click the three bars and then choose currency market.
You can hold (often cited as HODL) your SBDs and hope they continue to go up (there are only 1-2 million in existence and there's only about 23k per day that are made), but in this tutorial you're going to sell your SBD for steem power.
Take the SBD that you earned, and put it into the "BUY STEEM" side of the equation (the left). If you want the bid to go through immediately then make sure that the price you're offering is higher than the bid that's on the market.
Click submit and enter your key.
You just bought Steem. Now what?
Time to power them up!
In your wallet click on the arrow next to steem and then choose power up!
Enter in the amount you want to power up.
Put in your active key. Then KAPOW! You just got more Steem Power!!!
What's Steem Power do again?
Ever wonder why when whales vote they give $50 an you give $0.05? It's because they have more Steem Power than you. As you have more Steem Power the votes you have get stronger and stronger. It also will help you collect more followers.
Hey minnowbooster how much you care your followers it is clearly mentioned here yes ideally people opt 100% Steem power for easy going but due to 50-50 ratio we are making 6 times more Profits than before.

Yes it matters a lot if you choose 50#50 ratio and now Steem and SBD both are rocketing fast I hopefully assume that SBD will cross 10$ mark very soon.

Steem and SBD are currently trading as high as never before and whatever is written up here is 100% true. Unfortunately I´m currently in need of some cash irl so I hope it´ll stay that way for a bit so that I can in the end still get out with more SP than I had ever before :)
