Evolution does not stop! We continue to work to make Speak on Steem the ultimate video platform for our community. In this installment, we focus on three pillars: accessibility at a global level, rewards for activity and strengthening the Steem ecosystem.

🤖 AI and Visual Experience: Smart Subtitles

We have taken accessibility to the next level so that your content breaks down language barriers:

Floating Captions: Subtitles are now displayed as floating text, following the modern aesthetics of the leading short video platforms.

Groq Engine: We have improved transcription by integrating Groq, which allows for incredibly fast subtitle generation and efficient resource management to support a greater flow of AI-based traffic. If Groq is no longer available due to lack of tokens, or latency, the system will fallback to our Local LLM.

English Subtitles: In addition to the main language, English subtitles are now available to maximize your international reach. ✅

🏆 The Leaderboard is here! (Gamification and Rewards)

We want to reward the users who keep the platform alive. We have implemented a transparent ranking system:

Scoring Formula: Your position is based on the real impact of your activity:

Score=(Views×3)+(Videos uploaded×5)+(Videos watched×1)

Rewards System: A fixed amount of STEEM will be distributed weekly among the leaders of the ranking.

Manual Claim: You can claim your rewards every 7 days directly on the platform.

Security: We include an active blacklist to prevent abuse and ensure that rewards reach genuine creators and viewers.

🛡️ Integrity and SEO: Growing with Quality

To ensure that Speem is a robust and visible environment outside our bubble, we have added:

IP detection for Anonymous: We improved the view counting system through IP detection for unregistered users, avoiding spam and artificial inflation of metrics. ✅
Total SEO Upgrade: We optimize the entire platform so that Speem videos position better in external search engines. ✅
Legal Transparency: The Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, FAQ and "About Us" sections are now available. ✅

⛓️ Ecosystem Tools and Witnesses

We facilitate interaction with the Steem blockchain directly from our interface:

Witness Page (Witnesses): New dedicated section for you to know and support those who ensure the network.

The DAO proposal number 100 is ready to end and with it the funding for the development of this platform, the next update will be the last or penultimate that we will make by receiving funding from the DAO for this period.
