I look at the amount of steem I have accumulated over the time I have been here on steemit, and I just think to myself about all the amazing things I have been, and will able to do with it! 

What I Have Done.

I took out around 17 SBD about 2 weeks ago from rewards that I had claimed over a period of time, and used that money to go out with my girlfriend ( @brit.wayne ) at the mall. I was able to pay for 2 movies tickets, 2 milkshakes and a really nice pizza we shared together. It's something small but I wouldn't of been able to that If it wasn't for steemit. 

I'll never forget this day <3

What I will be able to do.

It's so amazing to me because I have made money that I've never had before or would of had other wise , with a passion I didn't know I had. It's truly a liberating feeling.

I'm still technically "new" to steemit in the sense that I'm still make small bits on my posts and curation, But the fact that I made enough to go out and treat my girlfriend is phenomenal !

Now in relation to other things I want to do in my life, I'll be able to invest in myself as an artist and brand, help myself grow as a music producer in the industry. I'll even be able to save steem until I want to buy myself a car ! 

Never had I though I would be sitting where I am today, writing blog posts I actually enjoy, making money I would have never had. It's almost unbelievable to be honest. 

The way I see it, steemit gives me an advantage in life that I wouldn't of had other wise. Eventually, once I've built a nice following, I will be able to support myself in many more aspects of life!
