Symmetry and Life

While wandering through charming alleys and the old town of Novi Sad, Serbia, I was looking for a good composition. The architectural objects there caught my eye, promising a nice composition using geometry, perspective, and lighting. This place is special to me because of the view, the fascinating architecture, and the amazing columns.

The woman in this picture is just passing by, shopping bags in hand. I took this photo on the way home. I am a stock photo site photographer, so I take many pictures from the backside of people. It is my favorite position as one cannot see the model’s face, preserving the true, raw, and real look of the street.
