RE: What supermarkets are good for

Posts can only generate a payout from votes in the first 5 or 6 days. After that you can still up vote an older post or comment, you will lose the VP for that vote, but the recipient will only see the green triangle appear in Steemworld but no payout. Original replies to posts are ordered chronologically until the vote difference changes the order to the highest vote first.

Yes people still up vote replies and I'll be up voting as many of yours as I can. I think new replies are just that, new replies and open to receive a vote within the first 5-6 days.

You don't have to power up, you can use mine. If I didn't have other coins I can cash out, I would not have powered up Steem. Remember that it takes a minute to power up, but 13 weeks to power it back down.

Sort:

I woke up with the idea to vote replies. Okay so it was a little voice. And these little voices are very cute because the less immortal side of my twin is also a sceptic, but they are becoming more and more insistent about any number of things. Inconveniently so? I would not know what convenience was anymore, I just appreciate all the help I can get.

On a less rambling note: I too shall be replying to votes, maybe even extremely so. (More on my extremism tomorrow).
If only because they are posts an sich. Take my sweet friend, the ever melancholic Persian Sina-adventure. He then gets a cent, on one of his off days, when he kindly makes the effort to communicate by way of a reply. I mean, lets face it, you need to be a hero to get through a post of mine (even skimmingly). That needs rewarding. Especially if you have Farsi for your first language. Excellent command of English anyway, and a relatively thorough reader (but the TEFL teacher feels so bad about all that gets lost in the nuance now I will not consider my potential larger audience as minimally multi-lingual and overdosed on cup-cakes, and therefore no longer let them cramp my style (okay, so I never was very big on the compromise) - I can feel in advance - how misconstrued I have to be in his ears. But he is valuable to me: a guy who hardly knows what he is doing here, but more to the point, he has brought here that he does not knowing what he is doing out there . An invaluable layer of truth.

The reply-voting seems to be important to my project. Or voting in general, for I don't feel like voting at all to anything that doesn't layer on. It's the most exhausting part of being here, and I almost admire the guys by the pool doing this for a living.

But how would that sit with the finer workings of the System. Sort of feeding into a very small pool. It's all peanuts, not even, but as above, so below, knock on effects and all that.... I watched the Big Short twice but must try again. All totally legit but defeating the main aim of generating more and more and more through the main idea of curating. Suppose one backtracked and replied, and that reply got upvoted, then the core premise of keeping the product (content) in motion is going to get another flavour. Hopefully a richer, deeper one. But I am not sure it can economically work and then I am not a Michael Burry (Christian Bale) and I lose my track of my thought about what I am really seeing, because I lack the knowledge of how things work. This is why I have to keep on asking you dumb questions.

The delegation now explained, it is gift to the project (i.e. to all extents and purposes claiming full responsibility: me) . I was just writing about why I wasn't powering up, in a post for tomorrow...so we are on track with that one too. Thank you very much, it has given me a 0.001 cent presence!

I wiggle happily.

Since it looks like I will soon not need the up vote from my alt, I will at that time reallocate some of it's SP to you to yield 0.02 because anything less is pixie dust. You can vote at 100% about 10 times a day because that is all that will be regenerated in 24 hours. I'll take care of our Persian friend for now.

You forgot to wish me a broken leg for tomorrow, oh wait, that was theater, never mind.
I already sent our Persian friend a few votes and my rep is back up to 31, at this rate redistributing my delegations may happen sooner than expected. I want to be certain though, because I'd hate to be put in the position where I'd have to undo the delegation to repair the damage from yet another flagging. On the other hand, Steem is dropping so buying some more is not out of reach. Look forward to reading your next post.

Yes the big smile was especially for our Persian friend. The wallet is bookmarked and slowly I am finding my bearings. The rep is rising by the hour (32 as I reply). WAFS explained in postal footnote. NOOOO (more) broken/damaged legs. You can also wear the bunny slippers without a broken leg.

Giggles! That hadn't occurred to me. There is a story about how the buhny slippers came about, but I'd be wise to not tell that tale in public, at least not in steemit, I'd get flagged again.

Not sure I have time to search for the footnote, bags are packed and I'm getting ready to hit the sack.

Our comment threads are getting pretty deep, 23 beyond the main page with only the 2 of us? Oh my..

We might be slipping into a next dimension if we keep on descending like spidery spelunkers on our shimmering threads.

Don't tell me: this comes second nature to you too? (Seems all the same to me: diving, caving, sailing, motor cycles.... It takes the same kind of reliance on body, equipment and steady head. So you are probably going to tell me it does.)

I have no strong urge to fly and I know this because I've been handed the controls of airplanes numerous times. I also piloted Hovercraft I was part in designing and building and I can best describe the feeling as riding on snot, again, no thrills. Scat Hovercraft out of Miami once offered me a Hovercraft to pilot in races, all expense paid, but I politely declined having the skill but not the drive. I find exploring the bottom of the ocean, wreck diving or spelunking more fascinating by far. Second nature? I never considered classifying my lust for exploration as anything other than liking a change of scenery, something different than what I already know.
