RE: What supermarkets are good for

For that then I will answer in reverse to unhook the Fish as soon as possible. We were a symphonic rock band that would never sound like country and western. In check with symphonic band's usual disregard to record company mandated limits of three and a half minutes, like the 10 minutes of Ghost Love Score for example, the song didn't fit on a single, so we had to slow it down to 33 1/3 RPM instead of the usual 45 RPM and speed it up to bring it in under 6 minutes. Suffice it to say I didn't like the end result, but I do still have a tape that I may yet digitize should I find both the time and a working tape player. It was recorded in an attic in the Hague in 1986 and was the reason to try the recording studio in '87. In retrospect that cramped attic had the better talent at the controls, though I will never try to wrestle a half stack (guitar amp) up 4 flights of narrow stairs ever again.

As to friends, I saw that you were recently visited by an old acquaintance who in a very nice way paid me a visit or 2 during your long absences. Chalk up a win for the friendlies as I think you'll possibly find much support there.

You can lead a Horse to water but you can't make it drink they say. This may be true, but a warm heart may convince an otherwise callous one to at least try to savor your freely given morsels of insight. Not efficiently, far from it, but so worth it to stretch and reach for.

Indeed, the A rated actors are not in the clips. Outrageous perhaps, but I didn't call the shots nor did I edit the sound. The insistence on working in noisy environments means I have to record things that later have to be removed destroying what was good. This is why Movie houses use Foley artists to create the sound stage. For now this project gets me out of the House, but for how long will remain to be seen. If I get involved with the sound production, it will take longer than editing the video footage.

I will likely never catch up to your level of language and knowledge of the classics, I had a late start as I was trying to analyze electrical circuits without as much as a single diagram, to exorcise the Gremlins from many a machine. Unlike Metaphysics, I don't question what is there or what it's like, it's always been my place to question what it's supposed to do, and why it's not doing it. For example: when the windshield wipers come on when you turn on the ship's radio, a diagram will not help you find the cause, so while the engineers and technicians spent a week not finding the problem, I spent a few hours finding a snap button's screw from a freshly installed Tarp connecting the radio's wiring to the wipers. Giggles!

Every discipline has it strengths and limitations, as do we as people. I look forward to continuing this mutually inclusive exploration of the mind and soul. That being said, I do question publicly undressing a battle hardened soldier stripping away the rusty armor to reveal the bloody gelatinous mess underneath. We may have need for that soldier just yet.

Thank you so much, sincerely, Onno.

Edit: The avatar was an earlier picture of the same object you see warding off aliens. It was created as a parade prop for a rust themed parade in Goor. The avatar leaves no doubt to locals as to which general Area I live in at the moment, though the need for that has left as has the farm and the rusty skull.

Sort:

1986 you say... you still play?
The Hague you say. You have seen the world. It's the Hengelo cul de sac that keeps throwing me.
Speeding up, slowing down just to fit on a disc going round and round and round? No, I can well see that you don't like to cheat.
As luck would have it....and day 5 will reveal more. You turn out to be just the man - once again - I need for another missing detail in "the book" (There Comes A Time.....etc.etc.etc wait for Day 5). Foley artist is not quite the word I am looking for, but we are going in the right direction. What kind of equipment does a basement producer of video and records need... I mean how large would this studio have to be to put things out of an A quality and the way it's meant to be (rustic is not the word, but that's what it must sound like to the new kids - so how much "fancy stuff" would one really need?). More on what language I am exactly looking for at a later date, if we can keep this in the fridge. Ice sounds so cold.

The only one who needs to do any catching up is moi. I keep on struggling with my obssession with understanding fail-safes/relays. It is central to the same godforsaken "book". No let's be fair, it is stuffed with what the gods forsook. The fridge is starting to have trouble closing its door.

You are not short on intuition, that's the main thing. Many a wiper and flush wood pannel will testify.

I urge you fervently to remain in battle dress! I'll peek through the vizer.

P.S.
Head still spinning from watching that record go round, it strikes me how for a sphere of 25.000 miles in circumference, sin embargo, el mundo queda, siempre, siempre, un pañuelo,

To contribute to the stock of public humor and ever so slightly easing the through peeking of visors (there is a button on your right near my neck to raise it. You can't see it, but it's there.), I have this first attempt at manipulating images in Linux using Gimp from '14 or there abouts. You may recognize the eyes from elsewhere in my wallet though a different image of the same Oehoe may have been used. Without the feathers they could look like Cat's eyes if I slightly modify the aspect ratio and for a long time I contemplated actually making this visor, but mental images of police chases and Hitchcock's The Birds soon changed my mind.

I no longer play. Through a long succession of ability/inability to play due to a chronic condition, I decided it became a waste of time if every other year I had to retrain the fingies to do what they did just a few years earlier before I could move on to new progress. That was the beginning of tomfoolery with Cameras, why fight nature? I can't win anyway, I learned that as a Diver: try to go with the flow and make a side exit at convenient point rather than swim to exhaustion.

I do wear glasses, but they are clear. I had misplaced my Pañuelo but your prompt has relocated it and it's ready for use. I do not mind cold storage, as I fully trust it is temporary.
