RE: Original Poetry: "So Long, my Friend"

in #teardrops8 years ago

I'm so sorry for your loss, may God answer the many questions hovering in your head and console the family of the departed. Loosing a loved one is never an easy thing, grieving is even worse. I lost my dad 16 years ago and it still feels like yesterday but knowing he is in a good place helps me feel better. The words of this poem are so alive and a further proof that we write excellently whenever we are in touch with our soul.

Yes, @udywriter, it's never an easy thing to lose a loved one. I lost my father almost 17 years ago, and likewise, knowing that he is in Heaven, I feel at peace. It's just heartbreaking that a close friend of mine and my brother's died tragically, just the same way as how our father died, too.

Thank you for your beautiful message. I am okay now, but I feel so much compassion and sympathy toward my friend's wife and his children. If I felt so sad and sorrowful for the death of my friend, how much more his family. The grief is tremendously overwhelming.

Please feel free to cry whenever you feel like, your heart will be lighter afterwards. As for his family, God will console them, its really painful but he will see them through.

Thank you so much @udywriter. I am feeling a lot better now.
