The Diary Game || 28/05/2026 || Spending Sallah With a Friend and His Family

in #thediarygamelast month

Good evening everyone, and welcome to another day in my diary. Today, I’ll be sharing how I spent my Sallah celebration with my friend and his family. Well, it all started on a Monday evening when my friend told me he was going to his family house to spend Sallah. Since I was going to be home alone, I told him I was going to come with him, and he agreed. Since Sallah was on Wednesday, we planned to leave on Tuesday evening.

So, Tuesday finally came, and after preparing ourselves and packing a few belongings, we set out in the evening. On our way going, we stopped to buy fuel because the journey was going to take a few hours. After driving for some hours, we finally arrived at the place.

When we got there, they welcomed us warmly and showed us to our room. After dropping our belongings, we went outside again to a Chilling Spot where we sat down, took some drinks, relaxed, and just enjoyed the atmosphere. After some time, we decide to go back home.

At The Chilling Spot

While driving back home, we stopped at a suya spot where they sell suya and kilishi. The aroma alone coming from the place was enough to make anybody hungry, so we had no choice but to stop . We bought some suya and kilishi and took them back home to enjoy ourselves properly. I won’t even lie, that suya was really nice. From the spice to the softness of the meat, everything just tasted right. I enjoyed every single part of it that day.

Finally, Sallah morning came. My friend went to the mosque while I stayed back indoors. After the prayers, everybody came back, and food was served. We ate, drank, and spent some time together enjoying the Sallah vibes and peaceful environment. We didn’t stay too long though, because later that same evening, we headed back home. After getting back, I wasn’t really feeling too well, so I just climbed on the bed and slept off immediately.

That was basically how I spent my Sallah celebration. Thank you for reading through my diary today. Stay blessed and have a wonderful day.
